Zen Sangha non-profit organisation, membership 2019
Your membership is an expression of support for the spirit and functioning of our sangha.
Membership costs 75 euros and applies for the calendar year 2019.
Cost-paying membership costs €225.
In addition to the membership of 75 euro you pay 150 euro as a contribution to the costs (rental, heating, administration, etc.) for participation in – on average – a meditation session per week in Ghent or in a local group. In other words, the 150 euro cost contribution replaces for an entire year the suggested gift of 5 euro for participation in on average one meditation session per week. If you regularly participate in our meditation sessions, we invite you to consider costeffective membership.
As a cost-paying member, you benefit from a discount of 5 euros per day on participation in sesshins.
Intensive cost-paying membership is possible from 300 euros.
The intensive cost-paying membership is intended for people who regularly talk to Frank Roshi and includes the Zen Sanghali membership of 75 euros, the cost contribution of 150 euros and an additional gift of at least 75 euros.
As an intensive cost-paying member you also benefit from a 5 euro discount per day when you participate in sesshins.
Supportable membership is possible from 500 euros.
Supported membership includes membership of 75 euros, the cost contribution of 150 euros and an additional donation of at least 275 euros.
As a supporting member you also benefit from a discount of 5 euros per day when you participate in sesshins.
PRACTICALLY

stating membership 2019, cost-contributing membership 2019, intensively cost-contributing membership 2019 or supporting membership 2019.
Please state your own name clearly. The account holder’s name is insufficient and often confusing.
Note: If you wish to pay your cost contribution in monthly instalments, you can do so by transferring 19 euros monthly to our account number with an indication of the monthly cost contribution.
We ask you to renew your membership yourself in January or February.

According to ancient Buddhist custom, you may always give a voluntary gift for the teaching and/or for your personal conversations with the teacher (dokusan).
